The couple has not yet revealed the name and face of their little one. Meanwhile, Sonam is sharing her life updates with her fans on social media. She announced her first pregnancy news in March 2021 with a pregnancy shoot.

Speaking about becoming a grandfather, Anil Kapoor recently told ETimes, “Nothing can be better than that feeling. I want to say my dialogue (from Dil Dhadakne Do) – “I feel on top of the world”. I’m busy doing my chores. There are Sunita (his wife), Sonam and Anand taking care of the baby. I am always by his side. It’s great to see him every day. He’s still so small, let him grow a little.”

Sonam will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s production, Blind, which was filmed before she became pregnant. “I’ve always been a bit picky. I’m not really in the rat race, I’m just doing my own thing. I don’t think that will change, but priorities change and I think the child will become mine. The truth is that they didn’t choose to come into this world. They decided to bring her here, so it’s a very selfish decision. I’ll try to do my best as a mom, which means acting will definitely take a back seat, but I don’t think I’ll ever stop working entirely,” the actress told Vogue about her career plans after she accepted motherhood.
