The Indian Coast Guard will recruit candidates for the positions of Navik and Yantrik through CGEPT. Candidates who wish to apply for the positions can apply online through the official website of Join Indian Coast Guard at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. The registration process begins on September 8 and will end on September 22, 2022.
This recruitment campaign will make it possible to fill 300 positions within the organization. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.
- Navik (general service): 225 posts
- Navik (national branch): 40 positions
- Yantrik (mechanical): 16 positions
- Yantrik (electric): 10 stations
- Yantrik (Electronics): 9 Positions
Navik (general service). Passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a school board recognized by the Council of Councils for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (national branch). The 10th grade class moved from a school board recognized by the Council of Councils for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik. Passed 10th grade from a Board of Education recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and 03 or 04 year Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunications (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
The selection of candidates is based on an all-India order of merit based on their performance in Stages I, II, III and IV. All candidates will be required to undergo an identity check before the start of the CGEPT Stage-I, II, III exam.
Applicants (except SC/ST applicants, who are exempted from paying fees) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- through the online mode.
